Dockweiler Chemicals GmbH is a dedicated manufacturer of highest purity chemicals for high-tech industries. We develop, design, manufacture and globally distribute a wide range of precursors for the semiconductor and related industries. Our customers use these precursors in deposition processes (EPI/CVD/ALD) forming thin functional layers which are the basis of high-end technologies such as computers, light emitting diodes, smart phones and laser-based communication technology, just to name a few applications.


From lab to fab – scalable innovations for the next generation of semiconductors

Our roots go back to activities at the Philipps University of Marburg/Germany at the end of the 1980s, which laid the groundwork for the foundation of a spin-off company (MOCHEM GmbH) in 1993.  After changing its name to Dockweiler Chemicals in 2012, the company started offering its innovative solutions under the brand name DOCK/CHEMICALS.

Our long history gives us access to a broad customer base and in-depth understanding of tomorrow’s customer needs. With a strong focus on R&D, we are able to offer a wide range of chemicals and services that are the decisive step ahead to drive future developments.

There are various chemicals, exclusively produced/purified by DOCK/CHEMICALS, which have the potential to be scaled from R&D to production. Our aim is to support customers from “lab 2 fab”, enabling the scaling of the manufacturing process and implementing a global distribution network for use of the new chemicals.

Drawing on many years of research, DOCK/CHEMICALS can offer true innovation in material systems as the basis, for example, for the next generation of high-performance semiconductors.
